I didn’t hear an argument for why the GOP should embrace gay rights, but given the GOP’s record of
denying the rights of so many people – e.g. voters
who aren’t likely supportive of GOP candidates, I’d be shocked if the GOP ever openly embraced gay rights or any other rights, for that matter, excepting the rights of corporations.
Wedge issues are too important for the GOP to give up on, so I’m afraid that Mr. Lambo has a tough row to hoe.
