When I was a senior engineering student the Dean taught a course in ethics. He showed the infamous 60 Minutes segment which purported to expose Hooker Chemical Co.’s evil-doings in the Love Canal situation. Then we watched the entire, unedited interview with Hooker Chemical’s president: an entirely different story. The Co. president had the wisdom and foresight to insist they be allowed to film the entire interview themselves. Most of what we see from the mass media won’t stand much scrutiny, adn this is one great example; thanks!
