I’ve been a tad hard on the Republican Party recently (here, here and here).
But it’s not as if the Democratic Party is distinguishing itself during this political season. Take a look at the political ad below, which is surely the worst political ad of the year, courtesy of the Democratic Party.

I thought it was kind of funny. I doubt they’re spending tv money on this; this is a viral web ad to entertain the base.

The Republicans will retain control of both houses of Congress. I am very optimistic. The Democrats are going to wish the Mark Foley scandal occurred one week before the election—and not five. It gave the GOP time to get back on track.
