The McCain meltdown
The fellows over at Professors R-Squared are having a rather fun time chronicling the remarkably quick demise of the John McCain Presidential Campaign (see here and here). But the best line on the McCain campaign meltdown still came from Jay Leno earlier in the week:
"Sen. John Edwards began what he's calling his poverty tour today. He's visiting people who have no money and no hope. His first stop: John McCain's campaign headquarters."

I simply refuse to overlook John McCain’s destructive efforts to violate our First Amendment right. The damaging results of McCain-Feingold are mind-boggling awful. He also hopped onto the ridiculous global warming hysteria bandwagon. McCain is good only on one issue: our existential struggle against the Islamic nihilists. However, Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson are equally strong on this most important priority of our age.
