Teasip Bingo!
Football during autumn is an indelible part of Texas culture, and the University of Texas Longhorns tend to dominate the state's college football scene, particularly coming off of a national championship season.
So, when the Texas Aggies rise up and achieve one of their relatively rare wins over the Horns, the Aggies really enjoy it. This year, the Aggies have developed the Teasip Bingo game below (pdf here) in which "each time a 'friend' throws out one of those ridiculous excuses for A&M's victory over UT in Austin, mark it off your list. Get the most marks and you can say Teasip Bingo!"

Sorry Tom. I read your blog every day and usually agree, however I am Texas A&M Class of 1973, and your characterization of A&M occasionally beating Texas is "out of order". Since 1973 the record is 17-17. By the way, over the same period Texas record against Oklahoma is 16-15-3

Sorry, Steve, but a 73-35-5 overall record in favor of Texas still computes that the Ags only win about 30% of the time in the series. The Ags are going to have to do a lot better than a 50% win rate over a 34 year period to reverse the Horns' traditional domination of the series.
