A real hero
While enduring Andy Fastow's explanations this past week on how he was a hero at times while working at Enron, I've been meaning to note the story of a real hero, Dallas-based blogger and writer, Virginia Postrel.
Check out Virginia's posts here, here and here for the story.
What a gal!

Definition: Hero: a (wo)man distinguished by exceptional courage and nobility and strength.
Initially, I intended to express my irritation at the overuse of the term 'hero'. While my irritation remains for its use in Andy Fastow's world, it seems to fit comfortably around the neck of Virginia Postrell.
